Kelly Services Production Forklift Operator in Adrian, Michigan
Supply production lines with components and transfer finished goods to appropriate warehouse locations. This is an hourly paid, non-exempt position. This position reports directly to the Manufacturing Operations Leader and may receive direction from the Production Manager or the Materials Manager.
Deliver products to proper location based on commodity, i.e. components to production based on products, finished goods to appropriate warehouse location. Operate forklift according to training and safety requirements. Load and unload customer internal racks. Process documents on local MRP system and verify for accuracy. Must follow all work instructions and procedures.
Ability to drive a forklift
Must succesfully complete all required training
Must comply with all safety rules, work rules, policies and procedures
High School Diploma or equivalent required
1-3 years prior automotive manufacturing experience preferred
Previous experience in shipping/receiving experience in automotive manufacturing preferred
Work requires walking, talking,seeing, hearing, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing. Must be able lo lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis, work requires working under high temperature at certain times.
