We are conveniently located near ProMedica Bixby Medical Center. We are experienced in providing physical, occupational and speech therapy for a wide range of conditions. Our medical director specializes in skilled rehabilitation and long term care. We have a number of professional therapists providing physical, occupational and speech therapy, as well as compassionate nurse practitioners, registered nurses, LPNs, nurses assistants, and registered dietitians. We also employ a number of social workers experienced in geriatrics. Provincial House was awarded the highest overall rating by the Centers for Medicare Medicaid Services (CMS).The Five-Star ranking is based on three key areas related to quality of care: health inspections, quality measures and staffing. The Provincial House wound care team uses the most advanced treatments available to treat acute and chronic wounds. We are currently seeking a compassionate and people friendly competency certified nursing assistant. Position Summary: The CENA is to provide each assigned resident with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident assessment, care plan, and as directed by licensed nursing personnel. Actively supports and participates in process improvement efforts and in team functions/decisions. Maintains and improves personal and professional learning and development through literature, seminars, workshops and affiliations. Job Requirements * Previous completion of GED or graduation from high school. * Maintains CENA certification. * Applies the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients/clients served, i.e., infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. * Maintains established department policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs and safety standards. * Maintains awareness and follow through with resident care plans, as directed by licensed nursing personnel. * Reports any changes in a residents condition in a timely manner to l
